The highlight of the trek is crossing the Chandrakhani Pass, situated at an altitude of approximately 12,030 feet. From the top, trekkers are rewarded with a 360-degree view of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.

Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the Chandrakhani Pass Trek is from May to June and September to October.
May–June: Pleasant weather, blooming meadows, and comfortable trekking conditions.
July–August: Monsoon season brings greenery but may cause slippery trails.
September–October: Clear skies and sharp mountain views make it one of the best seasons.
Winter (November–April): Heavy snowfall makes the pass inaccessible.
Overall, late spring and autumn are ideal for a safe and scenic trekking experience.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Naggar / Rumsu Village
Arrive at Naggar or Rumsu village, the starting point of the trek. Meet the trek team and attend a briefing session. Explore the traditional Himachali village and enjoy beautiful valley views. Overnight stay in homestay or campsite.
Day 2: Rumsu to Naya Tapru
Trek Distance: 5–6 km
Begin your ascent through dense forests of pine and oak. Gradually climb towards Naya Tapru campsite, offering stunning views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Overnight camping in scenic surroundings.
Day 3: Naya Tapru – Chandrakhani Pass – Malana
Maximum Altitude: Approx. 12,030 ft
Start early and trek towards Chandrakhani Pass. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the top. After spending some time at the pass, descend towards the ancient village of Malana, known for its unique culture and traditions. Overnight stay in campsite near Malana.
Day 4: Malana to Jari – Departure
Descend from Malana to Jari village. Drive towards Kullu / Manali. Trek concludes with unforgettable Himalayan memories.
